Japanese stylish? garden

A garden with red rose and fauntain is also good though,
I notice I'm really Japanese when I felt fine and calm with this sight.

My mum designed this small garden and I helped her with dad.
At first, there were trees and it made darkness.
She decided all tree cut them away and ordered this bumboo wall.

It's such a nallow space but it looks good, doesn't it?

Granma's 90th birthday

June 7th, sat.


My family all were in my granma's place to celebrate her 90th birthday. Her house is situated in Shizuoka prefecture where is 3hours drive from my home. We gathered almost all from her grand-grand children to son and daughters. The youngest member is 1year and half!

Luckly one of my cousin, who lives in USA, is staying Japan with her two sons as they are on summer vacation, it's been a while to see and it was fun. I heard her sons getting used to speaking English and I felt it was great.

Sweet waffle on Saturday afternoon

I visited my friend's cafe in Shibuya.
Here!
She opens here once a week, ofcourse it's not really business. However she works as a writer who has serial article in food magazines. Also she published some cookery books before, I'm proud of her! I can say she is a proffesional.

This waffle, which are served with honey nuts and vanila ice cream, is my favorite menu and always order when I come here.I heard she will have summer vacation from July, so I suddenly decided to go to have this waffle! Otherwise I had to be apart from it for long time, maybe...

This place is actually used as an office on weekdays and my friend is using here with the owner's kind offering. Always here has some events and today it was hats showing and selling. They are possible to buy!

This place's owner has a bussiness to support people who has dreams.She is enegetic person and her works so lovable!

''The Tanabata'' ,which is the event on June 7th, is coming soon,
so we wrote our wishes on the paper and hang them on the bamboo branches together.
It might come true, it's secret though!

*About Tanabata・・・・・・
is the star festival is based on a Chinese legend and about a couple separated by the Milky Way. They can only come together once a year on the night of Tanabata which is June 7th.

There is Orihime, who's a princess, and Kengyu who's hardworking but a commenr man. (She means Vega and he means Altair)
They fell in love and got married with King's agreement. But after that, they stopped working as they are so happy to be with and getting lazy day by day.Then king angrily let them be apart by the Milky Way. Since then, they has been allowd to meet again once a year on Tanabata night.Tanabata is the event to celebrate their meeting again.

Hawaian exhibition in Tokyo

the Hawaian spirit 24, June

It's very unusal as me,
I went to the exhibition of Hawaian photoes.
It was hold in one department store near Tokyo station
and took over 1hour to go by train and bus.

I've been interested in this because I often saw the advertisement on magazines in these weeks.

There are usually typical scenery such as beaches and flowers photoes, but here there were full of passionate potoes as above. The photographer focused on native Hawaian's life and tradition, it was so impressing and I felt life so much!

It's already one of American states though,
I knew that there are an original culture, life and language.
Also, people are proud of those and living as ''HAWAIAN''.

I'd love to visit here!
