Christmas 2007

Merry Christmas!

They are my photoes of Christmas!
The boot with full of snacks on the left was given
by my collegues!
One morning, when I opened my side desk it was put and
I shout Santaclaus' come! I was happy surprising!

The right one is dishes which I prepared with my sister
for christmas dinner. We Japanese are not purely religious people
but enjoy Christmas as a happy event on December!

We ordered this cake with fresh chocolate cream to
one cake shop which is operated by one woman.
She manages that shop and also make all sweets, too.
As the shop is situated in a residencial area,
it's not easy to find and there are not many customers
however, I'm very sure there are regular customers like us!
Because all cakes are yum!

Bags for helping people

One more gift for exhausted myself is this bag!
I had one shop which I wanted to go is Mother House.

All bags are produced in Bangladish with jute,
which is also grown there, export to Japan.
Basically it started to support poor Bangladish people
by one Japanese woman and Bangladishi man.
It's getting be known to us and popular as fashion, too.
You can get some in the specific department store.

Not only for helping undeveloped countries!
I feel this bussiness will help their independence as well.

my desired apple pie

I finally had this apple pie and it was wonderful!
This cafe is situated in Daikanyama, Tokyo
and famous for this big apple pie!
One Japanese lady learnt how to bake nice apple pie in USA
and her apple pie had a prize as the best apple pie in Vermont, USA.

I knew this place with the news paper in the end of spring.
Since then I've been waiting for autumun which is an apple season.

I've been exhausted for this few weeks with work
and got day off today for my relaxing!
The one is this yummy big apple pie for me!

Winter has come!

One scene of winter morning with Japanese pampas grass.
Alreaday winter season, which I don't like,
has come and I feel so lazy to wake up in early morning...

Recently I've been so busy with my work and
usually finish it around 9:00PM!
Before Christmas is the busiest season
in the year for jewellery bussiness.
I would say Christmas is for COUPLE in Japan.
They book nice restaurant and will have a sweet time together.
Jewellery are sometimes necessary for them
( especially for girls?) as christmas gift.
In fact, Chiristmas time should get together all family and have a relaxing time.

I've just started looking back on my 2007!
Before that I have to prepare to send Chiristmas gift and cards
for my love ones!

Spanish food journal

I just come back from Spain!
No, joking!Sorry!

This is the Spanish restaurant in my city and I finally went here
with my family last month.
(I updated about this in my blog of Japanese edition though...)

This restaurant's building looks poor but inside of it is really great as above photo.
The theme of interior comes from an old church in Spain.
We enjoyed the luch menu which is 1200yen(approx. AU$12.00).
Staeters, main dish, desert and cuppcino are all included!

Here there are all dished I had!

Spanish omelet & Gazpacho
omelet with potatoes / cold tomato soup

Paella
flavoured rice with seafoods

We enjoyed these so much!
They are very yummy and also price also reasonable!

Churros & Cappuccino

spanish doughnuts /coffee with whisked milk

Especially mum liked here so mucn and come back to here

with her friend another day already!

I wish I'll have Spanish foods in Spain oneday!!!
