My home town Kawagoe City in Saitama

I met up with my best friend today and we had a sightseeing of Kawagoe where I live. There is a historical old buildings street as the first photo and they would be used as sheds over 100years ago. These sheds are renovated to shops and cafes with leaving atmospher of Edo era, they are getting very popular these days. These old buildings attract many tourists!

The second photo is me with the old bell which is used to used to tell time people in the past. This is known as a symbol mark in our city.

About Japanese strawberries

I have a working history which I used to work in an organic products selling company and a fruit and veges shop. So I'm quite always curious about food! They are Japanese strawberries! So cute colour, aren't they? Compare to Australian ones, I think Japanese ones are brighter red and sweeter. Also, their meat are softer. We Japanese prefer these kind of taste and texture. Then producers are studying to develop new better those. Therefore, on strawberries season between December and May, you can see some kinds of strawberries in a supermarket. I'll never say they are very expensive. Actually, they are cheaper than Sydney!(Addtional comment here= but, if you went to a famous fruit shop in Tokyo you can see soooo expensive berries which are priced 12 for A$80!.What there are variety of level of products in Japan is also interesting!Don't you think so?)

My lovable moment in Hamamatsu

Hamamatsu is my mum's home town and it is situated in 2hours away from Tokyo by Shinkansen, which is a bullet train. While I'm in my grand mother's place, spending with my cousin's children 3years-old and 6years-old is always one of enjoyable time for me. Their growing is really surprising and impressing! Then I feel how fast time goes by!I've known them since they were born, so as if they are also my children. I just wish their healthly growing and happy days with my nearly 90years old granma!

Time of the Hamamatsu festival

It's the time of the Hamamatsu festival, Shizuoka Prefec. My mum's home town is here and I was staying in her place with mum last for few days. It's been a long time to see Gramma and other relatives and I was so happy to see them! I had to stay at home to take care of gramma though, her town's float(we call this dashi .) passed our place and we enjoyed watching it at night!
