They are Japanese strawberries!So cute colour, aren't they? Compare to Australian ones, I think Japanese ones are brighter red and sweeter. Also, their meat are softer. We Japanese prefer these kind of taste and texture. Then producers are studying to develop new better those. Therefore, on strawberries season between December and May, you can see some kinds of strawberries in a supermarket. I'll never say they are very expensive. Actually, they are cheaper than Sydney!(Addtional comment here= but, if you went to a famous fruit shop in Tokyo you can see soooo expensive berries which are priced 12 for A$80!.What there are variety of level of products in Japan is also interesting!Don't you think so?)

About Japanese strawberries
I have a working history which I used to work in an organic products selling company and a fruit and veges shop. So I'm quite always curious about food!
